1. Finding Nemo
This visually stunning underwater adventure follows the comedic and eventful journeys of two fish - a father and his son Nemo - who become separated in the Great Barrier Reef. The creator Steve Jobs and Michael Eisner need a big round of Applause for their beautiful work. The movie is written by Andrew Stanton. The great joy of watching a Pixar production is how it rewards not only younger viewers but their older companions as well.
2. Bug’s Life
The movie is all about one Ant and its story. That is a misfit ant, looking for warriors to save his colony from grasshoppers, recruits a group of bugs that turn out to be an inept circus troop. Very funny, great animation, good characters, hilarious out-takes at the end. The movie achieves a very high level of animated artistry without compromising its vision for a jaded audience and without forsaking the traditions of animated films. 3. Dumbo
This movie is about a baby elephant who was born abnormal with long ears. It si deceptively simple, fast moving and hilarious. Dumbo is one of the best Disney’s animated features. The story is all about affection of a mother and her child and how she protect him and loves him. Dumbo was special to his mother and no matter how different he was. She always loved him and cared him. Dumbo is a good movie to watch again and again.
4. Antz
The movie is equally attracted to kids and adults. The humor of this movie is mainly of a social -political nature and its necessary to know Communism and Marxism. This movie is the best animated satire since animal farm. Woody Allen voices the star character perfectly. The non-conformist theme is what is coolest about this movie. In terms of the acting, Allen’s presence completely dominates the film. Stallone and Hackman manage to steal some of Allen’s thunder.
5. Ice Age
The computer animation is great and the characters are delightful and entertaining for the most part. The story is of twenty thousand years ago, when the glaciers was being overrun. The creatures began to flee to the new Ice age. In this situation we meet an elephant who is very weird, a talkative but dim sloth named Sid, a mammoth named Manny, a devilish saber-toothed tiger named Diego and a saber-toothed squirrel known as Scrat. From a Biblical history perspective there are a few more points of concern. Its a better movie for adults and kids.
6. Toy Story 2
This is the sequel of Toy Story. It manage to keep up its reputation. The animation is advanced in part 2 considering the previous. Humor is also at its best and mind blowing. Great parody sequences of Star Wars and other films increase the number of laughs significantly. The characters, humor and each and every scene makes us sure that the movie is great for kids and adults. Children becomes reluctant to the toys after seeing the movie.
7. Bambi
Bambi is true animated classic of the silver screen. Bambi begins with the forest birth of a young fawn (Bambi) who comes into the world surrounded by an anxious crowd of admirers. He has been hailed as the “Great prince of the Forest”. Soon he became good friends to everyone in that forest. 8. The Prince Of Egypt
“The Prince of Egypt” is a deep movie, a serious story, and the first mainstream animation film not meant for a children’s audience. Its a full length musical version of the life of Moses. The main tag line is Two brothers united by friendship divided by destiny. After being raised as the son of a Pharaoh, Moses learns that he is Hebrew and must rush to people as their leader. His brother Rameses refuses to let the Hebrews go,and brings down the wrath of god upon Egypt. It won music for the best music. the movie is directed by Brenda Chapman, Steve Hickner and Simon Wells.
9. Lion King
Lion King is on of the best animated movie released. It takes place in Pride Rock, a serene jungle paradise on the African plain. The story is about a young lion cub named Simba and situations make him to flee from his colony after being blamed for his father’s death, but he returns with all his strength when he realizes it his destiny to be king. The movie is mixture of action, adventure, comedy and romance. Some scenes are mind blowing and leaves our eyes watered.
10. Toy Story
Toy Story is the first computer generated animation movie at its time. The storyline was pretty good, and the humor worked quite well. This made the movie an outstanding one. The movie is all about Toys. The first shot of this movie starts with the shot of a bedroom. The room is filled with toys of a boy. When the boy leaves the room , the toys come to life. The humor is good and the kids will enjoy the visual style of the film and even the story.
